Valeria Conti was born in Salerno, Italy, in 1975. She received her master’s degree in biology in 2001 from Federico II University of Naples, obtained her Ph.D. in Pharmacology and Experimental Medicine in 2010 and Pharmacology and Toxicology residency in 2011. At the department of Medicine, Surgery and Dentistry (University of Salerno, Italy, she is an assistant professor (RTD, letter B), board member of the Ph.D. course in Translational Medicine and Development of Active Aging, board member of the Scientific Committee of the Master program in “Clinical trials drug access and outcome research”, board member of the Scientific Committee of the School in Pharmacology and Toxicology. Moreover, since 2015 Valeria Conti is the Co-ordinator of the Operative Unity of PharmacogeneticsClinical Pharmacology- University Hospital “San Giovanni di Dio e Ruggi d’Aragona” of Salerno, Italy. Her research activity is focused on oxidative stress, aging, physical exercise in health and diseases, cardiovascular and respiratory diseases, and Pharmacogenetics. She is co-author of 60 publications in peer-reviewed journals.
