Beatriz Chamorro was born in Madrid, Spain, in 1995. She received her degree in Biochemistry in 2017 from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and obtained her master’s degree in Neuroscience in the same university in 2018. During 2019, she worked for Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC) as a project-associated researcher, whose name was “Molecules for treatment of complex diseases agerelated.” Since 2019, she is a Ph.D. student for the University Camilo José Cela, in Madrid, Spain. She is co-author of 9 publications.
Her research activity is focused on the discovery and biological evaluation of nitrones with neuroprotective and antioxidant capacities for stroke therapy.
