Atul Sharma received his Ph.D. in Biosensors and Bio-analytical Chemistry from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, Rajasthan, India in 2018 jointly supervised by UPVD-Perpignan, France and BITS Pilani University under ERASMUS MUNDUS PROGRAM (2013-2017). Earlier, he has studied Bachelor in Pharmacy (2009) and a Master in Pharmaceutical Chemistry (2011) from Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow, India. In 2018, he joined as Postdoctoral Fellow in the Bond/Zhang group at School of Chemistry, Monash University, Clayton Campus, Melbourne (2018-19) working on the advanced Fourier Transform Alternating Current Voltammetry (FTacV) to study redox couple kinetics. Currently, he is working as Assistant Professor at department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, SGT College of Pharmacy, SGT University, Gurugram-Haryana.
His interests and expertise are in the interdisciplinary area of the development of biosensors for the detection of emerging contaminants using synthetic receptors conceptualized on optical, electrochemical, and microfluidic platforms
